Alex Hilliam - Research Manager
Alex joined Progressive in 2008, having previously worked for George Street Research and as a senior consultant at transport consultancy DHC in Edinburgh. He has also worked as an independent researcher. He has extensive experience in qualitative and quantitative research, and obtained a PhD in Sociology & Business Studies from Edinburgh University in 2003. Alex has a broad research base and has delivered research for the Scottish and UK Governments, Local Authorities, Enterprise Companies and the private sector. He has particular experience of research in relation to transport, agriculture, education and learning.
