Research Manager

Helen joined Progressive in 2007, after kicking off her research career at BBC Magazines in 2000; the same year she graduated university. At the BBC, she provided the advertising sales teams with valuable insight into magazine markets, and from 2003 she focused on primary research into digital media platforms, marketing strategy and product development at Teletext. A year later she joined Starcom, where her role as Consumer Strategist required understanding the behaviour of consumer groups and the influences of different media touch points on their lifestyles and decision making processes. Helen collected the CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing in 2006, and since working at Progressive she has completed projects across such diverse topics as mental well-being, sexual health, media, retail, travel and culture, involving her experience in complex and multivariate analysis to produce key driver and brand fingerprinting amongst other statistical analyses. Clients to date include Aldi, Rape Crisis Scotland, Globespan, see me, Axis Media, and McCann Erickson.
