We are a small, fun market research agency and we’re currently looking for a dynamic individual to join us as an Operations Executive. This is a full-time post based in our Edinburgh office. It would be advantageous if you have at least one year’s office work experience, and particularly in a market research role. You should be well educated to degree level, with good Higher grades in Maths, English, or Administration, and preferably relevant work experience.

In addition:

• You must have good computer skills, be competent with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and a basic understanding of statistics would be advantageous.
• Excellent organisational skills and good timekeeping are essential as is accuracy and a great attention to detail.
• The post will require learning the Operations field management systems and getting involved with our internal and external interviewing teams.You will be required to book in data that has been collected by our interviewers, coding of open-ended questionnaire responses and getting involved in preparing PowerPoint presentations.
• The post will also require supporting the Data Processing team with learning to write basic survey scripts and process data, as well as supporting the Field team with daily office admin such as ordering supplies, booking travel, mail, and filing duties.
• Answering the phones is also a big part of the role therefore you must have an excellent telephone manner.

Someone who enjoys being part of a team, likes to use their initiative and is naturally enthusiastic is also essential. The successful candidate will report to the Operations Director but will be a support to the Operations team and Executive office staff as and when required.

We are a flexible employer and we work a minimum of 3 days in the office in Edinburgh and 2 days from home. Benefits include generous holiday entitlement, including free birthday day off, and the salary for this role would be £25,000.
