Hi Rachel, how has your first month gone as our new Operations Assistant?

My first month has gone super-fast! I have learnt a lot about how things work at Progressive, but I still know there is so much more to learn which is very exciting for me! In the Operations team, there are so many different avenues to explore, and no two days are the same. I can’t wait to see what the future has to hold.

How have you found settling into the team?

Settling in has been great as everyone is so friendly and helpful. I feel I can go to anyone with any question no matter how silly.

What do you hope to bring to the team? What’s your best attribute?

I hope to bring reliability and rigour to all the work I do and hope to be someone that any of my colleagues can come to with an issue and I can get it solved! I would say my best attribute is my problem solving and diligence.

What’s been your best moment so far?

It is hard to say as the first month has gone so fast, but I am really looking forward to our summer day out where we can all do something fun and social outside of work!

Do you have any goals for the next few months?

My main goal is to be given more opportunities to take responsibility and really shine. I have always loved project work, so having my own projects I can really take ownership of and see through from start to finish is something I would love the opportunity to do.

What are you looking forward to the most?

I am most looking forward to everything the future at Progressive has to hold. I know there are so many things to get involved in, and I am really looking forward to getting more stuck in.
